Amazing Grace is a presentation by Nairobi Cafe during the Shades of Black Festival and is a featured children's musical with 14 children from Nashville Public Schools. Based on the book "Amazing Grace" by Mary Hoffman, Grace has a vivid imagination and she brings to life stories that she has read of been told by her grandmother. And then she is told she can't play Peter Pan in the school theatre because she is a black girl.
