Interested in historic quilts? Belle Meade Plantation is starting a new program designed for those who've never made a quilt before but who can use a needle and thread. Join us as we explore patterns from 1800-1840 as well as the cult of domesticity. We will make a different scrap square each month at our beautiful historic house museum and carry on the tradition of the ladies that resided here long ago. Monthly pattern and supplies included. The Sewing Society meets every Second Saturday of the month beginning in August.
