    Performed in collaboration with Belmont University at the magnificent Troutt Theratre, People's Branch Theatre presents Galileo by Bertolt Brecht. Written in response to Brecht's exile from Germany prior to World War II, Galileo chronicles the life of of the astronomer whose revelutionary ideas literally shook the heavens. Galileo explores the question of a scientist's social and ethical responsibility, as the brilliant physicist must choose between his life and his life's work when confronted with the demands of the Inquisition.
