TSU Space for New Media presents Along the Way by Cause Collective

TSU's Space for New Media Inaugural Exhibition honors the intention and work of the Cause Collective. Along the Way is a 30' wide, 10' tall, Sundance "New Frontiers" video from the Cause Collective, a team of artists, designers and ethnographers who create innovative art in the public realm. Their projects explore and enliven public spaces by creating a dynamic conversation between issues, sites, and public audience.

Along the Way is a 20-minute video mosaic that includes over 1,500 videos taken by the artists featuring the people and places of Oakland, California and the surrounding Bay Area. This piece bears witness to a nine month journey that the artists undertook among the people of the Bay Area.

Helpful Information: A reception will be held on February 4 from 3:00pm-6:00pm. There will be an Artist Talk with Hank Willis Thomas and Jessica Ingram on March 18 at 6:00pm in Poag Auditorium.
