Add Review/Comment
Sister Cities of Nashville Celebrates a World of Friendship will bring Nashvillians together to celebrate the diversity that makes up our community and our world. This first-time event will feature a buffet dinner and a silent auction with an international flavor as well as live musical performances from Benita Hill, Ben Glover and the Nashville "Under-the-Radar-All-Stars," a band featuring some of Nashville's talented singer/songwriters. Participating restaurants include Ichiban Japanese Restaurant, Fulin’s, Rumba, Seoul Garden Korean Cuisine, Swett’s, Gerst Haus, Bread and Company and Sharon Johnson Catering.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Sister Cities of Nashville outreach programs which include educational, cultural, professional, and civic exchanges with Nashville's current and prospective sister cities. Proceeds will also provide scholarships for students in need of financial aid to participate in educational exchanges abroad. The silent auction will feature a vacation home in France for a week, as well as getaways to the Gulf of Mexico, Chicago, Kentucky Lake, Center Hill Lake and "staycation" packages to local hotels, restaurants and spas.
