6th Annual Community Leaders Assisting Students Success (C.L.A.S.S.) Gala

The Education Equal Opportunity Group, Inc. (EEOG) will host the 6th Annual Community Leaders Assisting Students Success (C.L.A.S.S.) Gala at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention, in the Tennessee Ballroom.

Entrepreneur, Corporate Organizational Problem Solver, and Author of the must read provocative book, "Standing Up & Standing Out", Mr. Roland L. Jones will be the keynote speaker. This year's C.L.A.S.S. Gala promises to be the event of the summer complete with a motivational keynote speaker, silent auction and live jazz music, and dancing ‘til the wee hours (okay, 9pm). Inaugural EEOG Pioneer Award Recipients are Mr. Ronald L. Corbin, Field Vice President at Allstate Insurance Company and Mr. Mark Blaze, General Manager at DEX Imaging & Mailing of Tennessee. Both men are pioneers, community leaders, and change agents and will be recognized at the 6th Annual C.L.A.S.S. Gala.

The gala is a fundraiser designed to raise awareness about EEOG programs and services. The EEOG core focus is to increase the retention and graduation rates for disadvantaged high school students. The EEOG's mission is to encourage at-risk students to succeed, inside and outside the class room by providing them with mentors and practical learning experiences so they can be successful in society.
