Two-time BMI Songwriter of the Year, Three-time NSAI Songwriter of the Year, Multi-Platinum record producer and Hit Songwriter, Jeffrey Steele, does it all. His recently released classic album, "Countrypolitan" pays tribute to the great artists of the past, while his current songs help shape the future of country music. Steels's country and A/C number one song "What Hurts The Most" recorded by Rascal Flatts was nominated for a Grammy for best country song and received two BMI Pop Awards as well. If that wasn't enough, BMI recently awarded Jeffrey for over 35 million airplays for hits with such artists as Montgomery Gentry, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts, VanZant, and many others.

I look forward to this event every year, one of the best kept secrets is out. You never know where these writers will go from here ... in some cases all they way to #1. Collapse
