Hike at Radnor Lake with Candice Ethridge and Kevin Bowden
September 19, 2009
Add Review/Comment
Comprising over 1,200 acres of hard wood forest in the middle of the city, Radnor Lake offers easy access to the non-human world. Join Kevin Bowden, bird walk leader for Tennessee Ornithological Society, and Candice Ethridge, a native plant enthusiast, to explore why so many Nashvillians find solace at Radnor. Resident as well as migrating birds may appear. Even leaf litter can reveal nature underfoot.
This event is part of Belmont University's Eighth Annual Humanities Symposium, which this year is centered on the concept Nature and the Human Spirit. Be sure to check out the long program schedule and short program schedule.
