Enjoy live hockey as the Nashville Predators face off against the Chicago Blackhawks!

Predators forward Steve Sullivan will be recognized at tonight’s game for not only his numerous contributions to the Nashville Predators, but also for his amazing comeback last season that earned him the 2009 Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. 

 

Tonight’s game will feature free Steve Sullivan posters (sponsored by Fidelity) for the first 10,000 fans and a pre-game ceremony honoring Sullivan for his remarkable comeback after rehabilitating from a back injury which kept him out of the Predators lineup for two years. Six-hundred eighty-seven days passed between games for Sullivan, but after missing 142 straight regular-season games and 11 more playoff contests due to a back injury sustained on February 22, 2007, Sullivan returned to the Predators lineup on January 10, 2009 and went on to post 27 points in the final 25 games of the 2008-09 season. His comeback earned him the 2009 Masterton Trophy, awarded to the NHL player who "best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey," making him the first player in franchise history to claim an NHL Award.
