Instructor: Perry Cotham, Lipscomb adjunct professor. The post-war era has been a period of rapid and momentous change, impacting our lives more than any other, from the dropping of the atom bomb to the events of 9/11. This course will evoke participants’ memories of the recent American past by surveying the political, social and cultural developments and by looking at the leading personalities in this period.
