World Alzheimer's Day 2009

September 21 is World Alzheimer's Day, a day when the Alzheimer's Association and other organizations around the world unite to raise awareness about the disease and its impact on families and communities. In collaboration with the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Alzheimer's Association will be showing part of the HBO documentary, Momentum in Science on Monday, September 21, at 12:30pm in the Frist Center Rechter Room. Momentum examines the research and development efforts of scientists and physicians studying the causes, effects and prevention of Alzheimer's.
