Autumn Equinox Writers Hour

In conjunction with the exhibit Dream Forest. Sculptor Alan LeQuire is best known for creating Athena Parthenos, the largest indoor sculpture in the western world, located in Nashville’s Parthenon. On July 9th, the Customs House Museum unveiled the newest colossal installation from this internationally-known Tennessee artist. The idea was completely conceived by the artist. He has employed the talents of writer Madison Smartt Bell, installation artist Annie Freeman, and Jim Sherraden to complete bringing the presentation to fruition.
