    Lipscomb University's Jazz Band and Jazz Vocal Ensemble will perform at 6:30pm on Thursday, Oct. 8, in Shamblin Theatre on the Lipscomb campus. The general public is invited, and this event is free of charge. Vocal pieces will include "Baroque Samba", arranged by Darmon Meader; "I Could Write a Book", by Lorenz Hart and Richard Rodgers; "How Can I Miss You if You Won't Leave" by Melissa Lancaster, arranged by Gerald Moore; and "Georgia on My Mind" by Stuart Gorrell and Hoagy Carmichael, arranged by Teena Chinn. The Lipscomb University Jazz Band is directed by Stephen Rhodes and the Jazz Vocal Ensemble is directed Gary Wilson.
