Joshua Dubois, the Director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, will speak at Belmont University. A Pentecostal minister, Dubois joined President Barack Obama's staff as a Senate aid and later directed the religious outreach for his presidential campaign. Dubois was announced as director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships on Feb. 5, 2009. The office has a four-point focus on economic recovery, abortion reduction, responsible fatherhood and interfaith relations. Dubois received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and a master's degree in public affairs from Princeton. The event is free and open to the public.
