Ferdinand, the mild mannered star of Nashville Ballet’s newest children’s program—based on The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf—is a lovable bull that would much rather sit and smell the flowers than fight and fuss like all the others. (Running time: 1 hour.)

Enjoy the hugely popular children's ballet Ferdinand the Bull, a heartwarming tale of a mild mannered bull who would much rather sit and smell the flowers than fight. Originally published by author Munro Leaf in 1936, this story remains just as popular today. It has continued to delight generations of readers for more than seventy years, and has been translated in more that sixty languages. Today, it continues to humorously and tenderly deliver powerful messages of non-violence and individuality, just as it did when it first went to print. Choreography by Paul Vasterling and original music by Mario DeSilva.
