Vero (Maria Onetto) is a woman adrift. Recovering from the trauma of a car accident and finding all her certainties unmade by the possibility that she may have killed someone, she must navigate the whorls and eddies of a life she hardly recognizes as her own. Family, lovers, servants and friends blur and detach, and the only fixed point for Vero is whatever or whomever died on that isolated road out by the canal. Dir.
