Are you an Adventure Racer? Bring your team out to Oyster Bingo Bootcamp for a 90 minute training session, and get answers to some of your Oyster questions. The Oyster Race is an adventure race with the same ideas as a wilderness eco challenge/amazing race set along an urban course. The race course is "secret" until the very start of the race when participants receive a "passport" assigning their race tasks. Two mandatory disciplines include running and biking. Additional disciplines may be assigned throughout the race as well, including hiking, paddling, climbing, skating, sit ups, push ups, navigation, use of public transportation and some surprises. Past surprises in other cities have included riding a roller coaster, eating a bug, pouring the perfect pint, and more. All gear is provided for race participants except for running shoes and bikes.

Come out to the Oyster Bingo Boot Camp for a 90 minute race trial and check out the Sample Course. As a team, think of all the places in Nashville a group of "out-of-towners" would want to visit, then strategize the best way to get to those places by bike, foot, public transportation, and waterway from the Country Music Hall of Fame Park. Bike together, run together (maybe rope yourself together), swim together, paddle together, excersize together. If one of your team members is not as strong at a particular activity, figure out the best way to help them out.
