REI Clinic: Introduction to Maps and Compass

REI will present a clinic aimed at the newcomer to map and compass. We will cover the basics such as understanding map symbols, orienting the map and compass, triangulation, declination adjustment, and reading terrain features. Participants are encouraged to bring their own compasses. Part 1 will be held at REI Brentwood, 261 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN (615) 376-4248. Part 2 will be held at Warner Parks.
