The Bordeaux Public Library presents authors Wander Powell and Henry L. Jones, who teamed up to write R.O.C. the World: How to Make a Difference. R.O.C. stands for Restore Our Communities.

It's not an ordinary book but one to help people find a purpose in life. Many of us live a day to day existence. There's an emptiness felt inside. Something seems to be missing. Have you ever had that feeling? A person's purpose isn't to pay bills and make more bills then one day retire from work. Your purpose is to make the world a better place. R.O.C. the World will help you find your purpose and plug into a community concern regardless where you are in life. Hear Powell and Jones talk about how they created the book and how it will help you.

Part of the proceeds of the book, R.O.C. the World: How to Make a Difference, are given to nonprofit organizations.
