    Elite Songwriters and Players Aid the Nashville Rescue Mission. Two Nights of Performances and Instruction by elite performers and writers will be held on the World Music Nashville stage to raise donations for the Nashville Rescue Mission. Area musicians and fans will have the opportunity to observe and interact in an intimate setting with John Ford Coley, John Knowles, and Byron Hill.

    On Wednesday, October 28 guitar master John Knowles takes the stage. This two-time inductee into the National Thumb Picker's Hall of Fame will perform and instruct during an evening that promises to inspire every player in the crowd. The evening is entitled "Six Tricks and a Treat". John will share six of his best tricks for becoming a better guitarist and musician. And, he'll treat all to a handful of tunes from his award-winning repertoire. When discussing his presentation at World Music Nashville Mr. Knowles said, "Some ideas are so big they'll guide you through your musical life - no matter what guitar you play or music you love."
