Jimmy Stewart and Friends
November 18, 2009
Add Review/Comment
Jimmy Stewart hails from Natchitoches, LA and his country music pedigree is long and illustrious. He comes from a family with a rich musical history. His Uncle Travis Stewart played and sang with Bill Monroe in 1971. Through his uncle and his dad, he met and played music with several legendary bluegrass musicians. His musical influences range from his father and uncle, to Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Ricky Skaggs, the Louvin Brothers, Elvis, and legendary dobro players, Josh Graves, Jerry Douglas, and Mike Auldridge. Although he considers himself mainly a dobro player, he is equally passionate about the fiddle and acoustic guitar.
