The 6th Annual "Laughter is the Best Medicine" Speech-Language-Hearing Healthcare Program December Gala honors TSU Nutrition Educator Leslie Speller-Henderson and the Tennessee Aquatic Project [TAP] Children and Youth Program. The Masters of Ceremony will be Lelan A. Statom and Tuwanda Coleman from NewsChannel5. Enjoy a catered reception, speech-language-hearing screenings, dance professional Nykolla Sweeney, Cremona Strings Ensemble Too, Paul Jack & Co., Comedians Leslie Nash and John Bowman, Visual Artists Michael McBride and introducing Donna Hampton, with Eugenia Sweeney's Collards & Caviar theater production of Purlie.
