National Bookstore Day at Davis-Kidd featuring Joy Bateman

Join us at Davis-Kidd Booksellers, Nashville’s favorite independent bookstore for National Bookstore Day! This year marks the first annual National Bookstore Day created by Publishers Weekly as a “day devoted to celebrating bookselling and the vibrant culture of bookstores."

To celebrate, Davis-Kidd booksellers in Nashville will have a book signing with Joy Bateman, the author of The Art of Dining in Nashville featuring 39 of the city’s leading eateries with original artwork and profiles. This book also shares the restaurant’s recipes for some of their favorite dishes. This is the third in a series of Art of Dining books created by artist Joy Bateman.

It’s easy to get lost in a book. Why not lose yourself in a bookstore? Offering books on all subjects, an extensive DVD and music department specializing in bestsellers and local interest, cards and gifts, a children’s section complete with story time and kids’ events, and around 250 author events a year, Davis-Kidd Booksellers is proud to serve as the premier independent bookstore in Nashville.
