Save-the-date for the 14th Annual Celebration of Cultures festival, to take place on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010. Presented by Scarritt-Bennett Center and the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation, the festival is a free event that aims to bring people of all backgrounds together to celebrate the cultural diversity of Middle Tennessee.

Showcasing the traditions, art and dance of dozens of cultures, highlights of the festival include delicious food from around the world; vibrant dance and musical performances; The World Market, where vendors sell hand-crafted and imported items from around the globe; a children's area featuring interactive dance, art, a children's stage and more; The Global Village, offering a glimpse of daily life and traditions in different countries; and TEENS UNITED!, an area organized by and for local teens from different countries.
