Extraordinary singer songwriter Brandi Carlile is pleased to announce the second leg of her “Give Up the Ghost Traveling Show” which will begin January 12 in Boise, Idaho and includes more than 40 cities across the country. The tour will include a headlining gig on the Cayamo Cruise in February and three co-headlining dates with the Indigo Girls.

$1 from every ticket sold for the “Give Up the Ghost Traveling Show” will go to benefit Carlile’s Looking Out Foundation.

The first leg of the “Give Up the Ghost Traveling Show” was virtually sold out and included legendary shows at The Beacon in New York and The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The tour wrapped up in late October in her hometown of Seattle, with a memorable performance at the renowned Paramount Theatre.

Brandi Carlile’s new album, Give Up the Ghost, was released on October 6 on Columbia Records and has been met with enormous critical acclaim. Paste Magazine crowned her “the best voice in indie rock,” and Billboard Magazine said Carlile “channels heartache, fear, nostalgia and joy in nearly the same breath, creating a vivid pastiche of alt-folk pop.” Entertainment Weekly said “she commands the spotlight with ease throughout, thanks in large part to her distinctive throaty falsetto – even making Elton John seem like a sideman when he shows up for a duet.”
