Watkins College of Art, Design & Film is pleased to announce an exhibition from photography student Sara Huggins beginning Saturday, December 5, on campus. According to the artist, her show, "The Waiting Room", "features work based on themes of female sexual identity and the media driven definition of virginity, stemming from a place of the personal as it bleeds into patriarchy." Sculpted out of childhood relics, the work asks questions about who defines the experience of virginity and when the seeds for the expectations of the experience are planted. The exhibit will run on December 5th at Watkins with additional viewing options on December 6. For more information, email the.waiting.room.show@gmail.com.
