In celebration of the holiday season, Steeple Players will present a readers? theatre presentation of Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol. Family-friendly karaoke will follow the Saturday evening show. The show, adapted by Richard Swallow, will feature local actors reading the holiday classic. Local award-winning actor, Pat Riley, who played Scrooge in last years performance, will reprise his role. Readers' theatre, often called "theatre of the mind," invites audiences to participate by imagining sets, costumes, and props.
