Don Aliquo is one of the most accomplished and exciting saxophone players around. He is possessed of virtuoso technique as well as tremendous musicality, a rare combination! Don directs the Jazz Studies program at MTSU, and also finds time to teach and perform at NJW. He appears regularly at Snap on 2&4 performances as an accompanist, but it's been several years since he has appeared here as a leader. Joining Don for this performance will be pianist Lori Mechem, bassist Roger Spencer, and drummer Chris Brown.
