      My name is Alyssa Jacey, I was on tour the night I stopped by Douglas Corner on October 19, 2009. Michael knew the "Girl from San Diego who can sing and play Come Together on the drums" was coming... Expand

      My name is Alyssa Jacey, I was on tour the night I stopped by Douglas Corner on October 19, 2009. Michael knew the "Girl from San Diego who can sing and play Come Together on the drums" was coming (thanks to our mutual pal Jim Reiley) so as soon as I showed up, he was very welcoming and excited to hear me play. This dude heard our conversation and was like, "Oh you play drums? Thank GOD. We usually have like 10 drummers here to choose from but there's only me and you tonight, so you can take my place for a while..." I was like, "WHAT?! UH, no no, I just play Come Together." Well that didn't exactly work on them, and I was cheered and yelled at until I got up and played...3 songs I had never heard of before, or played on the DRUMS! Then we did Come Together:) It was one of, if not THE, favorite night of the tour. Thank you Mike and Jim SO SO MUCH! I had SO much fun! ~Alyssa www.AlyssaJacey.com Collapse
