February 25, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT) will once again host an Evening of Song & Story, an inspiring event of hope and recovery. This year's event will feature touching stories and a special musical program by Tom Douglas, writer of the CMA's Single of the Year song by Lady Antebellum, I Run to You. In addition to Lady Antebellum, Tom has written hits for Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Collin Raye, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, just to name a few.
Tim McGraw says, "Tom is one of the great songwriters in Nashville. He crafts wonderful stories about real life situations, songs that impact and touch people's lives. And it doesn't get any better than that."
The event will include a reception, dinner, and the evening's program. This will truly be a significant event in Nashville and in the advancement of the EDCT's mission and outreach. We are looking forward to a warm evening of superb entertainment.
