James R. Boylston discusses David Crockett

The Tennessee State Museum and the Tennessee Historical Society will partner to host a lecture by noted Crockett historian, James R. Boylston, who will share research from his new book David Crockett in Congress: The Rise and Fall of the Poor Man's Friend. The lecture will be held on Level B, in front of the Buffalo Bill Stage. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
Prior to the lecture, attendees may tour the museum’s Crockett and the Jackson era exhibits, led by military historian and Curator Myers Brown. There is no charge for either the tour or the lecture.
