Well-known Nashville marketing entrepreneur Louis Upkins will present his first executive training based on his upcoming book Treat Me Like A Customer: Using Lessons from Work to Succeed in Life. Upkins, a Franklin-based entrepreneur who has worked with Oprah Winfrey, Darrell Waltrip, Starbucks and Joel Osteen among many others, will present an interactive, fast-paced workshop focusing on becoming a more effective businessperson by becoming a better spouse and parent. Treat Me Like A Customer will be in the SunTrust Center for Collaborative Learning in Lipscomb's Ezell Center. In his book, to be published Jan. 4, 2010, by Zondervan, Upkins shares his secrets to success as a father, husband and businessperson, challenging readers to take their roles as a spouse or parent to a deeper, more fulfilling level by treating their loved ones like their prized customers.
