Local Authors Leisa Hammett and Rebekah Pope discuss and sign From Heartache to Hope: Middle Tennessee Families Living With Autism. This hardback, coffee table-style book features stunning black-and-white photography and moving stories of 18 familes who are racially and socioeconomically diverse residents of rural and urban settings in Middle Tennessee.

There is also an exhibition in the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center lobby showcasing Nashville photographer Rebekah Pope's stunning black-and-white photography, which accompanies the book's moving stories by author Leisa A. Hammett. The reception runs January 18-March 29, 2010.
