Nearly 70 years old, Robert "Wolfman" Belfour is a hard driving blues man in the North Mississippi, hill country blues styles of R L Burnside, Mississippi Fred McDowell and Junior Kimbrough. His assertive vocals and accomplished playing is pure country blues. 2009 saw the crowning of Belfour with the coveted Tennessee Folklife Heritage Award.
