Adams and Reese Jazz Series presents Nashville Symphony and Matt Catingub, conductor and Kurt Elling.

Boasting a four-octave vocal range and a broad repertoire that encompasses everything from ballads and scat to spoken-word, Kurt Elling has earned a reputation as one of today’s leading jazz performers. He has performed and recorded with such music greats as Dave Brubeck, David Amram, Buddy Guy, Jon Hendricks and Randy Bachman. Elling’s performance at the Schermerhorn will include the Nashville Symphony, led by Honolulu Symphony Pops Conductor Matt Catingub.

      Kurt was the mesmerizing, jazzy voice my heart has been yearning to hear, especially in Nashville. He is my absolutely favorite jazz artist. His vocal range and ability has yet to be matched in today's time. I bought my tickets this past August and it was worth the wait. His message is deep.
