Join Nashville's top adult and youth poets as they uncover and celebrate African-American voices of the past through performance pieces that memorialize, caution, educate, and inspire.As attendees move through the library on this walking tour, poets will come to life and perform pieces sparked by the heroes and influences which drive them forward towards a successful future. . The journey begins every half hour. Presented by Youth Speaks Nashville and the Nashville Public Library, with generous support from the Memorial Foundation and the Nashville Public Library Foundation.
