Bill Winsor, president and chief executive officer of Market Center Management Company (MCMC), will be the featured speaker at Lipscomb University’s next Nashville Business Breakfast, a networking event highlighting a business leader with local economic impact, at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Allen Arena.

MCMC, based in Dallas, Texas, is leading the effort to develop the Nashville Medical Trade Center. The proposed trade center will add 12 stories to Nashville’s current convention center and will eventually offer 2 million square feet of showrooms to health care manufacturers, distributors and information technology companies as well as educational space and conference facilities for medical trade shows. The project is estimated to cost $250 million and generate more than 2,700 jobs.

Winsor, who was appointed MCMC CEO in May 1993, also served as president and general manager of INFOMART, a former technology trade mart established by MCMC in Dallas. David Osborn, recently named the general manager for the Nashville Medical Trade Center, will also participate in the Nashville Business Breakfast.

Cost of the breakfast is $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Registration is available online until Tuesday, Feb. 23, at leadership.lipscomb.edu, or by calling 615.966.6609.

The Nashville Business Breakfast is a quarterly series featuring local business leaders presented by Lipscomb University and the Nashville Business Journal.
