    Former U.S. Senator Bill Frist, M.D., will provide the keynote address at the annual meeting of the Global Burden of Surgical Disease, hosted by Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health on March 10, 2010. Frist recently returned from a medical mission trip to Haiti, where he provided emergency medical care to earthquake victims.
