Ghouls at Grassmere is celebrating another year of “spooktacular” family fun. Open three weekends in October: October 15-17, October 22-24, and again on October 28-30. (Ghouls is NOT open Halloween night).

Ghouls boasts a number of Halloween fun activities designed to appeal to children 12 and under. Kids of all ages will enjoy the Trick or Treat Trail packed with 20 themed treat stations. Then make your way to festival field where there is fun for everyone with games, inflatable slide, the Gypsy Mystery Maze and the best place to shake your “ghoul thing”- Monster Mash. For the more adventurous youngsters, the Haunted Hayride is back with some new “tricks and treats” of its own!

Visit the Zoo’s Historic Croft Home to learn about the dying traditions and superstitions of the Victorian era. And don’t forget to catch an animal show or sign up for the nightly kiddie costume parade at the Zoo’s amphitheater.
