The next SNAP ON 2 & 4 at the Nashville Jazz Workshop is Friday March 19 and features drummer Chester Thompson.
Chester Thompson is a world-class musician who has recorded and toured nationally and internationally, but calls Nashville home. His resume includes stints with Weather Report, Frank Zappa, Genesis, Phil Collins, and many others. He is a versatile drummer who has influenced countless musicians in the fields of jazz, pop, rock, and gospel. Chester is on the faculty at Belmont University. He also teaches at the Nashville Jazz Workshop and serves on the Advisory Board.

For this Snap on 2&4 performance Chester will present a varied program that includes Latin and Caribbean styles, with a little straight-ahead jazz mixed in. He'll be joined by Lori Mechem (piano), Roger Spencer (bass), Rod McGaha (trumpet), and Todd London (percussion & steel drum).

Tickets available beginning March 15 at 10:00am.
