Brand, a former student of the Speos Institute of Photography in Paris, will be exhibiting her fine art and offering an exclusive purchasing opportunity on her website.

This Nashville-based photographer is best known for her portraits of political figures, musicians and everyday people, all of which have been featured regularly in magazines, fashion and advertising. Many of Brand’s portraits of political figures have become signature images. Brand served as the official photographer for John McCain during his 2008 presidential election.

Like portrait photographer Arnold Newman, Brand has become well known for combining the esthetics of a person’s environment and personality into a single moment of inspiration. Her fine art work was selected for exhibition at the Salon d’art contemporain de Museum National D’Histoire Naturelle and her series “Regard a la Loupe”, meaning “through the magnifying lens”, featured tightly cropped portraits was seen in venues throughout Paris. Additionally, her work has been featured in publications worldwide including, Glamour, Paris Match, and Vogue.

Supporting Ms. Brand’s debut Nashville exhibition will be a special performance featuring jazz artists Lori Mechem, Roger Spencer, Marcus Finnie, Roy Agee, Monica Ramey and the legendary Beegie Adair.
