You can make another huge difference on Saturday, May 1 (and snag a fun, free boat ride) by participating in the fourth Nashville Clean Water Project at Percy Priest Lake. We have trash bags, gloves and sunscreen for you... we have snacks, hand sanitizer, T-shirts and hats... ...we have gobs of giveaways and live entertainment.

The Nashville Clean Water Project returns to Percy Priest Lake where recreationalists, fishermen and residents of the Midstate are leaving (sometimes dumping!) their trash behind. Make a difference, make friends, and make Mother nature proud at the Largest Water Cleanup in Nashville History. Register for a well organized event and free swag at www.CleanPercyPriest.org.

      I participated in the last three events and must say I really like what this group is doing. Everyone is a volunteer, even the organizers, who just want to make a difference. I met a lot of really... Expand

      I participated in the last three events and must say I really like what this group is doing. Everyone is a volunteer, even the organizers, who just want to make a difference. I met a lot of really nice people, and have a few new cool friends now, too. I also got a real eye opener on the way our waterways and natural areas are dirtier than you expect. I was amazed at all the garbage that was collected; there's really a lot of trash out there. :( The event itself was really well managed. Their free fish T-shirts are great and I see them around town all the time. Collapse
