Over the course of two decades and a dozen albums, singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter has crafted a singular body of work that brings together elements of country, folk, rock and other distinctly American styles. She helped revolutionize country music radio in the ’90s with such memorable hits as “Down at the Twist and Shout,” “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her” and “Shut Up and Kiss Me,” and she’s still going strong today, with finely wrought songs that touch on subjects both personal and universal. The five-time GRAMMY® winner makes a special appearance at the Schermerhorn to perform some of her best-known hits, along with selections from her brand-new release, The Age of Miracles.

    Concert presented without orchestra.
