Add Review/Comment
The University New Music Ensemble, a student ensemble performing avant-garde pieces, will perform on Wednesday, April 21, at 8:30pm in Ward Hall. As part of this performance, the Lipscomb University Chamber Singers will perform "Kasar Mie La Gaji," an environmental piece by Venezuelan composer Alberto Grau. Translated as "The Earth is tired," this piece features mixed meters that continually change. An ensemble of scholarship vocalists will perform "Rondes by Folke Rabe." Published in 1967, this piece explores non-traditional vocal sounds as music.
