We are excited to announce that Richland Fine Art is hosting the 11th Annual National Juried Exhibition of the American Impressionist Society. More than 1000 artists from around the country submitted paintings for consideration, and 100 were chosen by the jurors for this prestigious show. Nationally recognized artist C. W. Mundy of Indianapolis will award more than $10,000.00 in prizes to the show participants. The opening reception for the exhibition will be Thursday, October 7th, and the week is full of artists’ lectures and demonstrations. This is exhibition is an event that you won’t want to miss. The Frist will be featuring an exhibit: “The Birth of Impressionism” during October, so this is a unique opportunity for area art lovers to enjoy the work of the early masters AND, at the same time, have the opportunity to see the paintings of some of the most talented living artists who are devoted to preserving the impressionists’ methods.
