    Derrek Phillips is internationally acknowledged as a master drummer and musician. His melodic and signature rhythms can be heard on the Charlie Hunter Rope-a-dope Records releases, “Right Now Move”, “Right Now Live” (DVD), “Friends Seen and Unseen” and "Copperopolis".

    Derrek currently plays with young, singer and songwriter Erin Bode. She is enjoying the early makings of a successful career with her latest release, “Little Garden” on Native Language Records. This young recording artist has been featured the CBS Early Morning Show and A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor. Derrek has also founded a new ensemble with guitarist Adam Agati and pianist/keyboardist Paul Horton, “Derrek Phillips and Manufactory”. The group has made its debut in Nashville, Tennessee.
