Historic Rural Life Festival
May 5-May 7, 2010
Add Review/Comment
The Historic Rural Life Festival, held in May, promotes the history of agriculture by featuring traditional crafts, farm animals, demonstrations and shade tree activities. Attracting around 2500 school children and adults with such activities as sheep shearing, butter churning, story-telling and gardening, this popular festival encourages students to notice the changes that electricity and modern conveniences brought to the farm. Required scheduling begins in January.
