Fontanel Mansion, a 27,000 square foot log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame® member and two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Barbara Mandrell, will open to the public on June 7, just in time for CMA Music Fest. Open 7 days a week, the HOME OF ALL THINGS COUNTRY will celebrate its opening all week long with live bluegrass music and country stars John Rich and Gretchen Wilson signing autographs at The Fontanel Stone House Gift Shop. John will be greeting fans on Friday, June 11 from 1:00pm-4:00pm, and Gretchen will be signing autographs on Saturday, June 12 from 12:00pm-1:00pm. In addition to all this fun, while on site guests can dine at the Farmhouse Restaurant (open 7:00am-9:00pm), take a two-mile hike through the FREE Trails at Fontanel (open 7:00am-Dark), and of course take advantage of Nashville's FIRST and ONLY country music mansion tour (open 10:00am-3:00pm).
The Fontanel Mansion & Farm has partnered with the Country Music Association to offer CMA Music Festival attendees an exclusive ticket and $5 discount on admission to tour the unique home between June 7-13. Guests may purchase in advance online at www.fontanelmansion.com using promo code CMA104 (CMA ticket stubs must be presented for entry). Additionally, Fontanel will donate $1 from the sale of each Festival attendee's tour ticket to CMA's "Keep the Music Playing" campaign, benefiting music education programs in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
Fontanel will provide FREE daily shuttle service from the Bridgestone Arena on Broadway and 5th from 9:00am-2:00pm. There will be shuttle service every half hour on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The shuttles will return guests downtown until 5:00pm. Tickets do not need to be purchased before boarding the shuttle.
Located less than 15 minutes from downtown Nashville, Fontanel Mansion boasts three stories, more than 18 rooms, 13 bathrooms, 5 fireplaces, 2 kitchens, an indoor pool, and even an indoor shooting range on 136 acres. An exclusive spot for the stars, the home and grounds have been the setting for numerous photo and video shoots, CMT's top-rated "Gone Country" show and more. Nashville's only Country Music mansion tour, Fontanel Mansion will give visitors a hands-on immersion into the lives of Country Music greats Barbara Mandrell, Alabama, Gretchen Wilson, and more.
Visitors to the Mansion can also enjoy a meal at The Farm House, a 140-seat restaurant that will showcase local produce, dairy and meats delivered from sustainable sources and neighboring farms. Enjoy a little nature and hike the free trails at Fontanel, which wind over two miles, stretching through the property and woods around the home.
