    Join us for our first Civil War encampment of 2010!

    Huwald's Battery, 1st Confederate Division, Rambo's Legion, Army of Tennessee will be camped on the grounds of the plantation this weekend.

    Visitors can experience camp life and talk with soldiers inside their camp on the front lawn at Belle Meade. Stick around after the artillery demonstration and you will get the opportunity to be trained as a member of the gun-grew and learn the steps to firing a Civil War era cannon.

    Artillery demonstrations will take place on Saturday at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm and on Sunday at 12:00pm and 2:00pm.
