Jim "Flash" Miteff had one passion in life; motorcycles. He rode, restored, collected, exhibited and photographed them. He did not take photographs quite like anyone else. Using a vintage Speed Graphic press camera he shot several hundred photographs. This was not the way photography was being done in the 1960's. While Jim was shooting in black and white with this hard to use large format camera, other photographers were shooting in color with the new 35mm format. The result is a collection of photographs with amazing detail and character taken with a unique style that was all his own.

The negatives that make up this collection had been carefully stored for over 40 years! Few people had ever seen these pictures until Jim's daughter, Beverly, decided to make these rare photographs available for others to enjoy.

Anyone who has an appreciation for motorcycles, vintage photography or the cultural history of the 1960's will treasure this book.
